Question new C-class commerical...

this is the commerical for the compressor C230 or something

where this black C class is being chased by a couple motorcycles

i noticed the C-class had a manual transmission, is manual transmissions coming to the US or was it some Euro commercial

Since the intro of the W203 chassis back in the fall of 2000 (as 2001MY) the C-Class has been offered with a six speed manual. Now, the CL230K, C230K, C240 and C320's are all offered with manny trannies.

Not sure about sales in the US, but in these parts sales of you-shift-it's have been slooooow.

MB's average C-Class customer here is still over 50.

This is the first year the C230 Sedan is being sold in the states. Before, the 6 speed manual could only be found in the C230 coupe. I fear that the car won't sell, but then again, it will dirve down the resale value of the car, making it easier for the likes of me to buy one sooner

I dont think the Kompressor hatchback is selling to well but maybe thats just in my neck of the woods. The number one selling car has to be the E class!

You Yanks didn't get the W203 C240 sedan with manny-tranny from day one?

The only W203 chassis cars we can't get with the manual are the 4-matic cars.

Yeah, we had the manual C240 from day one.
