What year did the 140s come with shift knobs with star logo? Is it an easy retrofit to the early 140s with a plain shift knob? Is there a barrel full of logo shift knobs outside the shop that sells wood shift knobs?

1996+ W140 has new design shift knobs... HOWEVER, I don't think those would fit on early W140s.... Not as direct bolt-on anyway.....
