How wide?
Here's one source: http://www.shopaid.com/shim.htm Or do a search for "copper shim stock".

Now that you have sources...what exactly does one do with copper ribbon...is it used to gift wrap conductive materials?

Ahhh...esoteric cabling systems...
Too rich for my blood...I don't have a dedicated listening room (at least not until the bouncy horse, the beauty salon, the dollhouse, and the Little Tykes kitchen are removed from the premises). Such are the compromises of having a child...you just wait...

I bought a roll of 4 conductor flat speaker tape from www.smarthome.com. It was perfect for running rear channel speaker wires without having to tear into walls and fishing wire around cross joists. I split the four conductor into two pairs, sanded down some of the wall texture, stuck the tape to the walls, sprayed some texture knockdown and didn't even have to repaint since the knockdown matched the white wall! Pricey, but great stuff to have around.
