Washing Tips

How often do you wash your car and are there any special cleaning tips you'd like to share? Any special products that you swear by?

Do you scrub and polish your tires?

I'll start by saying that having a series of different sized paint brushes helps for hard to reach places and badges.

Yes, squeegee Been using it since 1987. I would do all the glass areas first before they dry out. I would dry it with chamois after the squeegee. It's a quick process. By the way, I started using a lamb wool glove for washing recently and it works a lot better than the old sponge

I have a very nice wax that I have used only a couple of times(all that is needed). it is called Nu Finish. You put it on after washing your car. Then you put it on in another 30 days. After that the water beads for at least three years. Very nice wax.

Howdy All,
Two names that come up a lot are Zaino and Maguires. Can't go wrong with either. I like Zaino. Badges?¿ De-badge the car it will look "cleaner" I'm surprised this thread hasn't been moved to the Detail forum.
