oh wow this post is since 2003 when i got the car painted. Its now 2005 and the car has been thru 2 winters with that paint and it held up very well.

Crap, didn't check the date.
It's my understanding that the first year would show any flaws in the work.

Beleive it or not it was done at Maaco but the guy who owns the shop despite it being Maaco knows that he is doing as its all about the preparation before the paint. It was a $3000 job...one of their best ones and the paint is holding up extremely well as its durable. The place is located on Wolfedale rd in Mississauga and they fixed my rust spot aswell.

I still can't believe what you paid for it, and that it was done at Maaco.

You should really wax it more often because it won't look that nice in a few years if you don't. Dark colors are very hard. You really should put two coats on every 3 months 2 months is better.

The car goes through car washes yes but the one where I used to work as a teen where we would get top notch cars going thru and I could trust it. This is done mostly in winter and the paint was never ever scratched.

I should wax more but im too lazy and the water always beads.

Could you post a better picture of the side as I'm contemplating the mono-tone look? I'm too much of a conservative artificialist to change I'm afraid.
