To counter a post where FastLane was put in question here's my latest experience(one of many) with FastLane.
I tried everthing I could think of to stop the tranny pan from leaking on my 86 Euro 500SE.Finaly decided to just get a new pan and gasket. It a Euro 722 311 transmissiom so I assumed it would take some time to get it. I called Phil at ten thirty monday morning and ordered the pan and gasket along with some filters to make up a hundred dollar order to take advantage of the free shipping that on now.
Talking to Phil is like talking to an old friend, a truly courteous person.
At two oclock today(Wednesday) UPS dilivered the parts and I had in on and no leaks by three!!!
I think that is extraordinary! as we live in a very remote part of Oregon (so far back in that we don't even have mail dilivery to our house)
Of the dozens and dozens of part I've gotten from FastLane for my three MBs I've only had one miss order and that was my falt as I ordered a window regulator for my Euro model and got a manual instead of electric one as I forgot to mention it had ele. windows.......

Yessir, Bill and Donnie have a great thing with FastLane and Partsman Phil. Every purchase has been a cake walk with quick delivery of complete and corret orders. Only once was there an error, and that was due to a tranny filter being mislabled. The matter was corrected in under 24 hours. Very impressive.

My most favorite order/delivery story is the order I placed online during the morning hours from work, parts were on the doorstep by the time I got home - less than 8 hours. That was quick!!!!

yes I have been getting some new parts from Parts Shop and VERY HAPPY!! PHIL is great! One suggestion is to take pictures of all parts listed in Parts Shop and post on the website..not all parts have pictures..

It pains me though when FastLane doesn't have some oddball part though...I would otherwise get everything here!

Phil is the greatest! When I couldn't describe a part I needed, he sent me an image via e-mail so that I could identify it.

I wound up having to get it at the dealer (again, an oddball part), but I get all of my regular wear and tear items from FastLane! It ROCKS!
