does anyone here run Redhat/Linux?
I have Windows ME on my PC. The darn thing 'hangs up' 5 to 10 times before I finally get into the computer. I am thinking of uninstalling Windows and installing linux. Will I be able to use my Palm with Linux? Photoshop? Will this be hard to do?

I use a dual partition 1/2 Winders (TX version) and the other 1/2 is Redhat. Personally I dumped ME some time ago for NT. I have been using Redhat to learn OS's - and it can be challenging as you need to develop you own platform with your applications.
Palms - Was thinking they only worked with CE. I have a Symbol 8100 and to my limited knowledge don't believe that Redhat is going to fly on it.

I have this on a server ...
easy to use and setup. its free, but I bought the CD off Ebay around $10 bucks, it takes a long time download, the only problem I had was configuring sound card, everything else worked great!!
http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en-us/ but if you want to use your Palm go with Windows XP pro
