Evil villains

I have watched cartoons and movies all my life. I grew up with the likes of Sonic The Hedgehog, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, BeatleBorgs, etc. The thing that makes ALL of these thing tick is evil villains. Poeple (Sometimes) who want power, control, revenge, and personal gain.

Dr. Evil, Lord Zedd, Rita Revolta, Solid Snake, Gollum, Dr. Ivan Robotnik, Ivan Ooze, Metal Sonic, Shadow, Bevis & Butthead, and hundreds of others. These are just some that I could think of just remembering my favorite shows.

My top Three:
1: Lord Zedd. Pure evil, short temper, never gives up, and Glows with evil.
2: Dr. Robotnik. Amazing IQ, keeps coming back, always wants power, and will do almost anything to kill sonic.
3: Gollum. Just plain cool.

I love the evil characters in movies and other things. I just can't seem to get in with the save the world gig. "I would rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints" is a good way to put it.

What do you all think? Who are your favorites? (Please stay off the "real life" ones. I don't want to get into that.)

I'm still trying to figure out how the most heinous criminals in Gotham City get caught every issue/episode then are back on the street within a week.

Gotham had a horrible DA.

Best villians of the original Scooby Doo Series (pre-scrappy) have to be the mad doctor from the insane assylum and the steaming deamons from the underground.

I prefer the Beast Wars Megatron. Had a more controled voice, not raspy.

erm...? that supposed to be "get smart" or somthing? I was about to say how old I was by trying to remember the name of the villans in "where in time is carmen sandiego?", but I can't remember the name (old black and white game, villans had a clever acronym for their name...).

Yup! And you're one of the younger ones here!

PS I had a huge crush on "Agent 99".

Between Maryanne (Dawn Wells) and Agent 99 (Barbara Felden) it was a wonder I got past puberty alive.

I like "Mojo JoJo" on the Powerpuff Girls (I sometimes watch cartoons with my daughter).

The show is pretty goofy to begin with, but I just love the logic of a villian (basically, an evil chimp with superior intelligence) who lives in an extremely tall observatory as his lair, right in the middle of Townsville Park, concocting ways to simultaneously rule the world and defeat the Powerpuff Girls!
