What State?

What state do you wish you could live in? For me, it's Minnesota. MN seems so healthy. The air is so clean, friendly people, plenty of outdoor activities as well as culture. The place seems to be full of great colleges and wonderful medical facilities. It seems to me that taxes in MN are fair and used wisely compared to some other states with equally high taxes.

I visited MN and liked it. I remember walking around Lake Calhoun in the cold and then standing on a bridge that crossed the Mississippi, hearing the ice of the frozen river crack was incredible.

No state taxes are fair! Florida has no state tax and is a great place to live.

Move to Minnesota. More cold, less crime.

I just returned from a three-day conference in Savanna, GA. That is one beautiful, friendly town. Other cities could do worse than follow their plan of strings of small parks evenly spaced through the city. Most parks have historical markers and some have statues. All have gardens. I had a picture taken of myself standing in front of an historical marker about the lady who founded Girl Scouts. One of my kids is a scout and I know she'll like that picture.

The restaurants were nice with staff professional and filled with southern sweetness. I could live there. Oh, I stayed at a Marriott. Nice place with high speed internet in each room.
