Anybody know of a good, free sync program for computer?
Hi everyone:
Was just wondering if anyone used a freeware synchronization program to keep their "My Documents" folders up-to-date on their laptop and desktop computers. I have used the briefcase feature, but it's really crappy, and oftentimes doesn't work. I find myself recopying the entire directory over when I travel, and 1.68GB of data takes a heck of a lot of time to move from one computer to another via 10mb ethernet. I have WinXP Pro on both machines - maybe there is something else built into the OS that I am not aware of that might do this? If anyone would have any suggestions, I would be grateful. Thanks for the help! Take care, Michael. |

Windows 2000 and I think XP have a synchronize function built into Windows Explorer (not to be confused with Internet Explorer). I've never used it but in Windows Explorer select Tools then Synchronize....
