The old Kodak bit the dust and needs replacing. Any good digitals out there for under $300? Nothing fancy, I just need a decent goofproof snapshot camera.

Prices have come down so much on these you're sure to get a good one for $300. I have heard Kodak makes the best in the mid-range. Get at least 3 megapixles. Keep an eye out for add on costs, like extra memory chips, carry cases, etc, this is where things add up in $$$.
