Photoshop this for me?

Took this 30s exposure of Bristol today, in the few inches of snow we got (yay!)

Can someone photoshop it to make it look nicer?

I can't get a likeable colour balance etc., though I took it in RAW and converted to TIF with almost the lowest colour temp setting (3000K)

Help please to show me if I can get something rather better looking.

thanks!

Rusty

Difficult with JPEG compression

Can't do too much because of the artifacts caused by the JPEG compression you used. This is about the best I could do with about ten minutes of messing around. Also, the compression level to get it small enough to repost. Photoshop allows a compression level between 1 and 12. To get this image small enough, had to do all the way down to level 3. That is pretty crummy compression.

Thanks Dan and Steven.

I was hoping to find a way of getting more 'colour' into the image, but I think the problem may be the lack of it in the original.

There's a very strong orange cast across the image and I hate it

I want to get vibrant night shots like these from www.dpreview.com (from the near-identical Canon 300D).

Once I can work with night shots properly, I hope to get some good shots of the MB!

thanks

Rusty,

That one picture with the rainbow colors in the river has been processed pretty heavily. Those colors are not accurate. They were added afterward. There is no light source of those colors on the waterfront to give those colors in the water. Pretty cool picture in any case, but in my opinion, not as actually captured in real life.
