Judging by the impact pattern on the lower part of the windshield and a side/corner impact, she's going about 20-30 mph at impact.

Unless something happened to him after the hit, like landing on his head then being run over, his odds are good for survival, but there's going to be injury to his forehead, possibly to his extremities when he lands and rolls.

ouch. Looks like she has the typical granny driving atitude too- hands 10-to-2, right up against the wheel and totally oblivious to anything on either side of the car!

I'd hazard a guess it's Germany by the spelling of 'foto' and the amount of VW's

I have my doubts about the authenticity of that picture. Position of the man is not realistic, no damage to the wagon.

It looks like the man was purposely riding along on the outside mirror, lol.

Where did you get this? I haven't examined it too much, but the vw driver has her hands up. It looks like she just saw the hit and is freaking out. Granny looks oblivious.

The picture has to be real.. notice the reactions of people in other cars as well as the persons crossing on the sidewalk. Pretty hard to go into that much detail to make up a picture like that.

Poor guy! I hope he survived. At least he has a photo as evidence.

The picture's got to be real. There is damage: the windshield is shattered and the wiper blade has been pushed upward from the impact.

I don't know. I have seen so many photochops, I will never believe anything unless I was a personal witness.

This crazy techno-world has desensitized me to utter reality.

I would assume that given the numbers at the top and that other people are in the crosswalk, the picture was taken by one of the red-light runner cameras. Therefore, it could be real?

Not only is granny screwed by running someone over, she has a ticket for running a red light to boot.....

How many Mercedes must be sacrificed before they stop giving drivers licenses to old people!
