Some of the GM engines seem good, though. Their 3800 series can go for quite a long time. I see 3800 Series I engines from 1988 still going really strong today, with nothing more than oil changes.

I agree that the E4OD is a POS, but the C-6 in my old van was pretty stout...

That said, I prefer to jam the gears in my trucks My truck's a 4 speed, and my only desire is for an overdrive gear...
