hinrg, The E320 wagon is a great car. Mine is running great. It drives just like the sedan, you can't tell it's a wagon. I think that the 320 i6 is a better engine, so I would go with a 93 or later. Have the car checked by a good MB mechanic ( PPI ) before making an offer on any used car. As you know the 124 is a solid well built MB. Good luck.

Golly Bruce, what a great price!

I love the ' 94 - '95 wagon talk! I've got one with 222,465 miles on it and it takes a pounding everyday. Changed the oil ten times last year. Runs as well (maybe better) than when I bought it in '98 with 66,000 miles on it. Don't get discouraged when the wiring harness goes, the radiator goes, the fan clutch bearing goes...you'll never have to buy another car. In 1994 these cars were going for $56,000! I think you can buy a E500 4Matic wagon for around $59,000 today.

WOW, That's something to look forward to - over 220k. I don't think I will part with my wagon for a long time, I love driving it....
BTW: The previous owner within the last year had a new radiator put in the car, along with rear shocks, an interstate battery, door seat memory and switch, rear hatch elec. locking device and several other small fixes. |
