My family is in the market for a used PWC. We'd like to keep it under $4k. I am a boat person, not a PWC person, so I don't know much about reliablity/performance on them. What brands are the best? What models are there to avoid? Anyone else out there own one? If not, you are truly missing out

We had a '96 Sea-Doo, and loved it! It was a very dependable craft. But I've heard the newer ones have problems with their engines, but don't know specifics. Kawasakis are supposed to be pretty good.
Yes, these things are a blast!!! But unfortunately I had to sell mine a month ago. Getting rid of toys before we move this summer.
