I need a little help
I need a little help. Actually I may need a lot of help, but if anyone has training in psych I’d appreciate your insight. I’ve always understood that the behaviors listed below to be an indication of emotional disturbance. That would be:
1-Thinking in black and white – You’re with me or you’re against me. Right – Wrong - no maybe. 2-Not admitting or unable to admit mistakes – I’ve thought about it, and I believe I’m right etc. 3-Thinking that they are doing God’s will – or that God wants them to do something. Aren’t these people prone to alcoholism or substance abuse? Don’t they typically come from abusive environments, and aren’t they prone to being abusers themselves? Do they typically distance themselves from their parents?
