it is all the rage now to tout hybrid vehicles, it seems.

i have read too much of the hype. no where can i find a statement concerning the life of the batteries. and how much it will cost to replace them. and how much it will cost to remedy if they start to leak.

can anyone educate me as to this undiscussed aspect of hybrid vehicles?
