My 4th of July weekend .
1st day I told a lady beating her kid up in the hotel parking lot that if she hit him again, he'd be an orphan....she stopped. 2nd day watched the Blue Angels AWESOME, I guess protesters are back in style because they were protesting the Blue Angels, I told one of the fine young ladies that despite being disillusioned about the Blue Angels she sports the no bra look nicely she laughed and shook them for me.......and my wife who stuck up behind me (Special thanks to Coors Light) 3rd day Wine tasting and celebrating the 43rd anniversary of the Bikini. . 4th day ...I blacked out. |

Had a lousy July 4th. Got the news my nephew is on his way to Iraq. Spent Monday under my SL fixing a busted exhaust hanger.
Great fireworks around Clear Lake. |

I was in Harbor Springs MI in the late seventies for their forth of july fireworks. Harbor Springs is a very wealthy town up near the top of Lake Michigan and they were famous for their elaborate
fireworks display. The fireworks themselves were placed on a bardge anchored in the bay and were set off from a panel on shore. a hudge crowd had gathered and were just settling in when the fireworks started going off all at once. There was real panic with people screaming and running in a hudge herd toward the town. I got out of the way and wacthed ,there were a lot of boats in the bay with people aboard wacthing the event. Several boats caught fire. Was really a wild scene......... William Rogers......... Last edited by william rogers; 07-07-2004 at 12:44 PM. |
