Riots.

Don't want to let anybody fool with the basic constitutional requirement of democracy.

...actually it was named by Martin Waldseemüller, an Austrian cartographer, after Amerigo Vespucci the Italian explorer.

Actually, like I said, "For whom a continent was named." Didn't say who named it.

And he was a cartographer. Anybody can be an explorer.

Its a lot more boring not to have fantasies. But you get to choose your own reality.

It would take a Constitutional amendment to postpone the election--it is mandated to be conducted on a certain day by the constitution. Any election carried-out on any other day would be illigitimate. No matter who won. It would be a horrible, stupid idea.

Much better to carry through with election even if there are bombs. Do it as scheduled and defy the MoFos.

Over 20,000 black voters were denied the right to vote by being "mistakenly" expunged from the voter roles by Catherine Harris. That election was rigged before it even started. It won't happen this time.

I could take up rioting under those circumstances. Sounds like a whole new hobby.

No telling how many dead folks vote in NOLA every election. Folks are too skeert of racial and political fall-out to shake that tree.

I wish voter rolls were challengeda lot more frequently. The way most people vote, it wouldn't matter if their names are on the roles or not.

Chick-s**t politicians are too scared of being hounded by whiners to make sure only qualified voters, vote.

Also, if you show up and they can't find your name, they'll let you vote anyway and check later.

The only state whose laws are based upon the Napoleonic Code . . . which was French . . . which brings us full circle. I guess it's time to get off the bus.

Hey Guys,

Wasn't there a thread a little while ago questioning whether or not Bush was stupid based on having the Iraqi government assume control a day or two early to mess up the "insurgents" who might want to disrupt the event? I think it would be even less stupid if the US national election was held earlier, say a few months, to avoid these terror attacks. Jim
