Electric 12V vacuum pump for brake booster = 123 / 126 and older.

There are alternatives.
Please don't scrap your diesel for a failed vacuum pump.

I am raising this topic because the OEM 'mechanical' vacuum pump, NEW; repair parts / pumps are no longer...

Cheap alternative

A customer in California: Ran new hose from the center arm rest, through the bulkhead grommet, to the shutoff box.

For 15+ years a mighty vac has been attached as his shut off pump.

99% of the time; it is the dry rotted rubber hose at the vacuum valve = replace one at a time, once both are replaced, retest.

There is no part number.

It is an assembly ONLY.

Unless someone 3D prints a viable piece, you will need to replace the whole assembly with a good used unit.
