2005 C240 P1075 error code

Hi All,
The check engine light came on my C240 the other day. I went to the local mechanic and had the error code read. He told me it was a P1075 code, system too rich or something of that nature....

i took the car out to drive and push the rpm. It is shifting fine up to 45-50mph, but anything above that i feel like the engine is slowing itself down if the RPM is getting higher..

it is not coming from the front of the engine compartment. I checked the alternator blades to see if there was any metal scraping.. there was none. from inside the car if sounds like it is coming...

but yes it was leaking from my thermostat housing..

That thermostat is such a pain to change.. WOW! aAHH
