Thanks for all your help. Sounds like i have my hands full. I'll check to see if I have a factory heater first. I guess this will be a nice little project to start after Thanksgiving.

It ended up being a blown fuse (the one attached to the firewall). Thanks for everyone's help. I feel like an idiot. The fuse should have been the first thing i checked. Live and learn.

I can't seem to get my 1979 240D to start. The glow plug light went out and now it won't start. I changed the glows plugs and checked the fuses and it still won't start and the glow plug light...
