It has a good engine and drives down the road but the tranny wont shift into reverse and won't shift into 4th, rarely into 3rd. It is not a rust bucket...

300d's block heater's function is in question. I tested the voltage at the female plug used to connect to house current.

With it pluged in, I got 53 volts across the hot and ground, and Zero...

My wife's '85 300D, aka "Pain" continues to vex me. Now...it refuses to go from drive past neutral, into reverse or park, unless you shut the engine off. Then everthing acts normally. HELP please.....

I know that non working tachs are not scarce, but anyone else have one that likes a mist or rain? My 85 300TD wagon's tach will not work EXCEPT when there is water on the road.
