Haven't been on for a while..but thought I'd ask after a search this morning.
I have a buddy doing a swap of a 300 mb turbo diesel into a nice 240d manual car.
He is not a member of the forum yet...

Repalced a AC compressor and found out it's bad ... diagnose help needed

Buddy froze up his ac compressor on his 85 300TD and we picked up another off a good wrecked 83. Installed the compressor and had it filled and got the call from the ac guys that the pump does not...

a 83 unit and it is similar but the wiring plug is different.

I'd like to bag the plugs all together and just hard wire it...
