It would be nice if the searching and posting could be done by chassis type.

eg: w123, w124 w126 etc.

The Tech section is getting so large now.

Unless the author puts the model number in the title or text body, it is difficult to search by chassis.

I spend a large amount of time trying to determin chassis number W115, W210, etc.

When I can, it is added to the title, in some few cases it has caused protest from the author.

As you note, there are a huge number of threads, and searching is an art.

At my latest survey, if no more posts where allowed, it would take three people, several years to sort the existing mass of data by chassis.
