260E Climate Control Question
When I got my 124, the AC worked like a dream but, one day after letting a friend drive my car, it started to act odd. When the CC is on the 0 setting, the windshield defroster, driver and passanger vents stay on. Usually at a neutral temp. When the AC is engaged, the center and floor vents come one strong, the sides sometimes come on and the windshield one goes off. The only thing he did diff was he left them on fulll blast when he shut off the car, which I never do. I switched em off before I started the car. Anyone know why they are doing this?

Something to Check
The pushbutton control is complicated and I had to replace mine once. One thing to check though is the solder connections on the printed circuit board. The pushbuttons are soldered to the board and tend to break. Hopefully that is it. Replacing the board can be big $.
