front spoiler/airdam for the w123 coupe???

I've been looking for an add on front spoiler for my 123 coupe- just like the upgraded look of the 560sl compared to the 450sl. I do know that the 560sl front spoiler is factory and could be just added to the early r107 body. The w123 is an after market item together with some skirt and rear end add-ons.

Any good reliable source for these items??? I appreciate the help

did you do a search???

you are in a uphill battle here...not much help in the aftermarket world for the w123 - there is some old stock here in there...

louisw123 posted some info

www.ebay.de

or you can do what i did - make your own...

good luck!

IMHO, it would look awful and ruin the eventual value of the car...

In addition, racing architecture on a Mercedes diesel is pretty ludicrous (or Ludicris)...much like the superfluous tach.

i agree it could look out of place.....that is your call.

i have a mutt running a modded out ford engine that lites the tires up....so a little meaner look is okay to me...it is also lowered 45mm and on 17 inch monoblocks...

what i did was carved out of pink house foam a body kit...i designed it to look the way it could have looked if done clean from the factory....i looked to audi and vw for clean aesthetic inspiration....i made no loud angles, or lips, no big overhangs or anything...it is very clean and simple (also easier to carve and then fiberglass...) once i had the look i turned the faom into fiberglass one off cast wraps and then mounted it to the car...the front end it a urathane part comming for a 1998 dodge dakota, i used it so if struck it would rebound and not shatter like glass...it looks good because it is so out of context that it is hard to spot - not the most ideal method but i was a full time college student when i did this four years ago or so - would i do it different - i still want o carve my own...

heck i want to redesign the kit "online" with everyones input, make molds and copy them for the "modern w123 owner" - but thats a pipe dream

good luck - keep it simple and do it (itll look better and be easier on you!)

You can find two kinds of front spoilers here for the 123.
