Car Sitting Overnight

The plastic rail is solid, and does not move. The car has been sitting for about 36 hours, so if the chain tensioner is oil pressure driven, would it be understandable that the chain maybe slack?

Also, since the valve cover was off, I did crank the engine, without starting it, to check the valve clearances on cylinders 5 to 8.

The chain and tensioner was replaced by a mechanic, not by me. He has been in business for many years. I trust the shop owner, but some of his mechanics, I'm not sure about their skill and knowledge. I'm not sure if it was the shop owner that did the work or one of his mechanics.
