Fog Lights and a Confused Owner
85 300TD
My fog lights are out, but it's not the bulbs? Any ideas, could it be a relay? If so is there a simple way to test the relay with a volt meter to see if it is the problem? I should also say it is not the fuses.... Many Thanks. Last edited by benzzy; 08-23-2004 at 04:25 PM. |

Which car? I saw in your profile you have a C32 and an 85 diesel. You need to make sure everyone knows what you're working on.

Well I replaced all the fuses and cleaned the fuse box. But that didn't work. My next job is to check the switch, any other suggestions? |

Assuming you have pulled the switch knob out to the first and second detents to verify the lights are inop. Second detent should kick on the rear fog if so equipped.
