A small amount of smoke, mixed with water vapors and gasoline smell is nothing to worry about during the warm up period.
After a cold start-up, the fuel/air mixture is richer and some gasoline fumes can find their way into the top of the engine and water droplets present in the cold engine will vaporize resulting in some steam (sometimes also seen out of the exhaust pipe). JackD |
