1993 300E 3.2 me again.

Well I've been gone and now I am trying to get the old MB back on the road.
Installed the new ETA today and the engine starts fine bul,l once you press the gas it stumbles and it keeps stumbling, I can only go 30 mph and pressing the gas really gently to get up to that speed.
Is their a need to tell the computer. that a new ETA has been installed or does it figure it out on it's own?
Maybe the ETA is defective.
Gracias

And how does that compare to how it ran before the new ETA? What changed with the new ETA?

Before it was always going to the limping mode, killing a cylinder and idling rough.

Well at least you fixed something. Have you tried pulling fault codes? You should have an LED light on that car. Or better yet try clearing all the codes, running the car, then checking the new ones. I think sometimes the car needs to be told to get out of the limp home mode.
