arghh! sunvisor clip BROKE

car is a 1990 190E, driver-side visor clip broke off today! it seems that it broke at where the screw is placed. what is the part number for this piece? and does the dealership or fastlane even carry this piece? never would I think a m-b visor clip would just break off. it's actually a brittle piece of plastic. man, I'm just bummed out about this because now my visor just sags. has anyone replaced one? was it easy? please help!

These people have your visor clip, call them tuesday -1-800-243-1220 it's cheap.Installing it may be a ittle bit difficult, being that the screwis recessed in the clip itself.I put mine on with two-part,5 minute expoxy ,worked fine for me.Yeah I know how irritating that sagging visor is

I would call the dealer first as I only paid about $5 from my local dealer.....no shipping. If you have a philips screwdriver you can install the clip before you leave the dealer parking lot. Just make sure not to bridge the two contacts as one is 12V+ and the other is ground.

You're going to find that many interior parts are available unlike some cars. MB also uses many of the same parts across car lines and for many years. The door lock knob is a case in point. They have been using that same part at least since the 60's. Check out a fintail, for instance.

BTW, the visor clip was already broken on my 300SE what I bought it. I went to the dealer and got it.

When mine broke, I made one w/an aluminum plate for free. It'll never break again in my lifetime.
