Dumb quick question? Chassis #

This may seem like a very elementary problem but I can't discover where they hide the chassis # on my 95 E320. Apparently my brake hardware is dependent upon it.

The two numbers that the parts catalog has are (from Ch# B864308)
and (to Ch# B864308). I am familiar with the W124 distinction but these other ID's I am not

You have a W124 chassis.

Since you have the 3.2 liter M104 engine, your exact chassis number is 124.032.

OK, here is what they mean:
The parts you need are dependent on chassis VIN (vehicle identification number) which is easieat to find on the lower windshield on the drivers side, or just check you registration (title) or insurance card.
You need to look at the last 7 digits and compare them to what is being asked in the parts look-up. If for example the last 7 are B864300, you would use the "to Ch# B864308". If the last 7 are B879999, you would use the "from Ch# B864308".

Question my vin doesn't match either #

The last 7 of my vin is c246338. It is a 4dr sedan if that is helpful. Perhaps its a typo in the computer cataloging? But if this is the case several catalogs are offering the same selections. Now I'm really confused

No -- no typo. "C" comes after "B". Choose the "from" rather than the "up to".

Talking Sorry, I just realized how dumb my question just got.

UHHH Duhhhhhhhh. Sorry I should have figured that out a bit sooner. Not using my brain. But now I at least know that the last seven of my vin is considered a chassis #. Thanks for the help guys.

Hey I don't blame you a bit -- it really is confusing if you don't understand the system.
