I thought that it is not too many of them in 260E and I need them all, almost :-)
I need one that covers a climate control unit and another that covers window switches on the central console. Only one is left - an ash tray, but luckely I have it.

I've seen a variety of these pieces on eBay, usually pretty reasonable, too. The one exception would (wood? ha) be the piece around the gearshift. It seems every one of those has cracks in the finish. Maybe you can find one that's an improvement over the one you have now.

I just got my new console from Caliber Motors in Anaheim...paid about $180 for it.

You will have to get the blockout plastic covers for the extra cutouts for the seat heater switches though...they reside near the front of the console.

The new console looks far nicer than the old cracked one I used to have...in fact I went ahead and got the chrome shift surround and wood shifter knob to complete the look!

Patience. It's 17 years old, a few weeks won't hurt.
