if that fuse is in my fuse box, then it is not shot...if it is somewhere else, then I don't know. All the fuses I can find are intact. Is it somewhere I haven't looked?

Well, the fuses are marked so that one knows which is which. So, Back to "DO you have a fuse in socket # D ? "
If you do , spin it in its case , as sometimes the do not make a good connection. If that does not help, then try the archieves........... |

Every slot in my fuse box is filled...the ones that say "aux cooling fan" and fan relay and ac and all that. I've turned the fuses. Guess it's something else.

OK
Behind the fuse box is the relay box. Six screws for the lid removal. Check the relay in Slot "C" .. it may have the newer style w/fuse on top.. |

found it
my aux fan relay is in a little black box in front of my fuse box...it's in there all by itself. I ordered a new one and switched them out...unplugged the 2prong switch in the cylinder head and the fans came right on....swapped the relays back again and nothing...swapped them again with the new one installed and bingo...fans came on full blast!! I'd say I found my relay and it was bad.
I might switch out the two-prong greenish blue switch too just to be on the safe side...the car is 15 years old and I'd say some of the sensors could stand to be replaced...anyone know the part number for it? thanks |
