Well, the lesson I learnt is that everyone else is getting a better deal than me. That I should have never purchased an old Luxury car without a bank account to maintain it.
Looks like I will be spending at least $2000 to get the car to run w/o any major problem after $5K purchase price. Hopefully I could drive it for another 30K miles (currently 103400 miles). |

BigBenzWV $2k is nothing I spent that in parts before I could even drive mine everyday. I dropped $1,700 in one week alone (that was a very hard week) on a new oil cooler+lines, floor mats, and wheels and tires.( I know wheels and floor mats are cosmetic but they made the car look so much better) Although my W126 was beat and ready for the junk yard when I bought it. But nothing new is breaking so if you buy a well taken care of Mercedes you are probably in good shape.
