Driver's glass removal on 126

I am replacing my driver side window glass and just want to check that I will be doing it correctly (for obvious reasons).
By looking at it, I need to remove the regulator, form there I assume that the glass gets pushed up and out from the top opening? It looks like I will need to remove the chrome trim that sits outside the vehicle on the base of the window opening. Am I missing anything??
thanks!
justin

No idea how much commonality there is between your W126 and the W124 manuals I've been looking through for my own window problems. Your description is pretty much what my manuals say for the 124. They talk about removing the one nut in the channel at the bottom of the glass, winding the window about halfway up and wedging it in place. Then the rest of the nuts/rivits holding the regulator are removed and the regulator is removed out the bottom. Remove the seal strip on the inside of the door and pull the indow up & out. No mention is made of removing anything on the outside of the door. That may be a difference from 124 to 126.

Best of luck,

Well, I got it done. I ended up removing the interior seal strip as well as the exterior seal/chrome strip. Of course in order to do that the side view mirror also had to comee off. I'm not sure that the outer strip had to come out, however having a bigger opening certainly made pulling the glass out easier.
So...in the past 6 months I've replaced the window regulator, window, inner door pull, door check strap and the vacuum actuator on my driver side door. Hopefullly that door panel can stay on for a few years now...
