201 Auto Tranny: Locker?
My ‘92 201/2.3 ltr has an automatic transmission that doesn't seem to lock up. Does it have a locking torque converter?
Thanks in advance. Jeff Pierce

Thanks Steve.
Do you know what the rationalle was for that? Certainly in '92 locking TCs were common technology. Did MB feel there was a disadvantage to them? And are current MB automatics equipped with locking TCs? Again, thanks for the info. Jeff Pierce
