I need to buy ATF for my baby but I don't know which transmission I have. They sell 2 types depending on the two options (722.618 or 722.607). Anyone know how I can find out? Thanks in advance!!

I have a 2000 E320 that I was in the process of buying some ATF online and had the exact same question as you. I was able to find a transmission shop in phoenix, from doing a google search, and learned that the 722.607's are in:

98-02 CLK320
98-02 CLK430
98-02 E320

The 722.618's are in:

00-04 SLK320
01-04 C320

So according to my research, you and I both need the 722.607 MB ATF.

The one thing I forgot to ask to anyone who might know, I was unable to find the answer doing a search, is how much fluid will I need? I changed the tranny fluid in a 2000 C230 that we used to own several years ago and if I remember correctly it took a little over 3L with just a filter change. There wasn't a drain plug in the converter as I'm assuming my 2000 doesn't have one either. Can anyone confirm the quantity for me as I'm getting ready to order some.
