Is there a way I can get the codes from the 4matic computer? The 4matic light is on (I know-$$$$$) and I would like to see if there are any faults stored in the computer.
I checked the transfer case oil and didn't find any metal in the fluid which looked fairly clean. I'm not losing any tranny or hydraulic fluid and theres no leakage from the transfer case.
I was able to reset the light by removing and installing the 4matic computer harness and the system would work fine for a couple of days before the light came back on. Now, the light will not go out even after disconnecting the battery to reset the system.
There's not much info on the system on the cd's.
Any help would be appreciated.
