C230 alternator voltage check

Did a voltage check on my 97 C230 [voltage meter across the battery with car at idle and at 2000rpm]
at idle = 13.8v
at 2000rpm = 13.9 v

Is this "normal"

My 911SC puts out [suppose to put out] 14.5v at 2000rpm.

the C230 shows no sign of weak battery, no problems > I just wanted to do the test to ascertain what a "good" condition was > for when it does go south
