Repairing front reveal W123

I'm sure someone has done this in the past. The front reveal (piece under the sunshades) on my 300CD is coming apart. The leathereque is seperating from the backing around the dome light and at the leading edge.

Does anyone know of a good glue I could use to stick that stuff back down with? I'd prefer not removing the piece from the car, but thats not outside the relm of possibility.

Apart from the seperation its in great shape. The color is good, no tears, no rips or gouges.

If noone knows what glue to use any pointers as to whats been tried and what doesn't work?

3M weatherstrip adhesive will do the trick, get the clear, not the black!

Spread a THIN coat on each side, allow to dry until just tacky, the press in place.

Won't come off again!
