During my recent visit of the SEMA show in Las vegas, I stumbled upon the " Interstate " booth.
Surprise, surprise, here was a battery with " Mercedes-Benz " on display.
I asked one of the fellows if they are making the batteries for M-B, which he confirmed.
If I recall correctly, they have been producing/supplying M-B for the past year.
Looked exactly like a " Varta " battery, only exception was NO vent tube to the exterior.

Interstate makes great batteries. I got more than 8 years out of the last one I had in my '86 560 SEL.
