Car in question is a 1995 E300D. It currently does not have the memory (programmable) seat switches, just the standard power seat switches. Is it possible to upgrade to memory seats by simply changing out the switches in the doors to ones with the memory buttons, or is there more to it?
Thanks in advance.

In most MBs, the memory module is part of the seat track assembly so changing the switches won't do it.

Yea, you will need a new controller and a wiring harness at least.

Thanks for the info, even if it wasn't the answer I was hoping for.
