99 E300 Seat Heater not working
My seat heater is not working for the driver side. The seat heats but the back doesn't. On he passenger side, both the seat and the back heats. Does anyone know of how to get it fixed without paying the big bucks to get the cover and heater? Wife loves the toasty seat and this is not making her very happy. TIA

Check the Seat heater pad with a OHM Meter..Unplug the seat heater at the seat bottom..Use a OHM meter to see if the pad is defective..OPEN..
If the seat heater pad is defective the seat must be removed from the car and the seat taken apart..to replace the defective heat pad.

There are harnesses down below the seat. Does anyone have a wiring diagram so I know which ones to probe? I suppose there are 2 sets of wires. One for the seat and one for the back. On top of that, there are other wires there for the powered seats so if someone has a manual and could send me a scan, I'd really appreciate it. TIA
