560SEL Ignition help!

Okay, my 560 is back together and I'm trying to get her fired up. The battery is strong and the engine will turn over. The fuel pump is pumping fuel and I have to assume the spark plugs are sparking. Whats not happening is the engine fireing up. Am I missing having something timed properly? This is what I know and understand:

Known:
Cams everything on the timing chain circuit is timed.

Believed to be true:
Electronic Ignition takes care of itself and automatically distributes the spark

Is there anything else I need to make sure is in time (ie the fuel injector) or anything crazy I may have missed. Will the engine fire up if I haven't connected every vacuum hose up right?

I appreciate the help!

Scott
