190e driver's door unlock hesitation question

When I unlock the driver's door lock, I have to twist and hold the key for a few seconds to get the vacuum pump to start and unlock the rest of the car.

When I lock it, it works normally. I also notice that the twist of the key is not easy and smooth but takes a little effort, unlock the other locks.

I replaced the door lock recently and does anyone know if there is an adjustment or repositioning that I can do?

Thanks

Haasman

In further sleuthing it seems that when the key is turned excessively a contact is made and then the door lock vacuum system then works.

I wonder, is it possible that the tumbler is slightly twisted and needs to be repositioned?
