I have just located an ad for a low-mileage 1995 E420, Midnight blue and with 'Java' leather. Is that an actual leather color for that year or just someone's personal interpretation of Palomino, do you think?

There was no java leather in a 124. With midnight blue in 95 it would probably be either creme beige or saddle.
