I ordered a block heater when I mistakenly thought the one already on my M-Benz 1983 300SD Turbo-diesel didn't work. The trouble is the catalog I ordered from doesn't take any returns of any kind and I paid $50 plus shipping for it. It is new and untouched in its packaging. Anyone interested in buying it for $40? With shipping I won't be recouping much for my mistake but I also don't see the point of storing a brand new part for an occassion that may never arrive? I guess that leads to a question, should I keep it handy after all because one never knows how much life is left in the block heater on my 22 year old car?
